So what is your favorite memory?
I have a bunch, but one of my favorites was my Senior Year trip to Corregidor.
Dorm 5 seniors and their dads (and a few other non-Dorm 5 seniors) went to Corregidor for a few days to hike, camp, and generally rough it.
Uncle Tad Wulliman was the big planner of this event, and boy did we have fun!
I have a ton of pictures from that trip and everytime I look at them I think of how much fun it was to run all over that island and dig up artifacts. I still have a live bullet dated 1943 that I found on top of Malinta Hill.

Yeah, I remember our Corregidor trip in 88. That was fun crawling around in all those tunnels and seeing what stuff was there.
The seniors tried to walk around the island on the beaches and cliffs. I remember that we went further than we should have and I was just dying on the way back. I thought I was never going to make it and was hallucinating from heat exhaustion by the time we got back
Those were the days!

Hey Allen, remember that HUGe bonfire we made in that big pit? I think we must have burnt about 30 trees in there, it lit up the sky for miles. I have a great picture of you, Halls and bunch of others standing behind the flames wearing only shorts and looking like a bunch of savages. If you took kids on a trip like that now you would have soooo many lawsuits it would be ludicrous, but MAN was that a fun trip. I still remember Mr. French getting dehydrated and throwing up rehydrated fruit from a C-ration all over the bunker we were sleeping in, technicolor cherries and everything. And i have memory of you using a machete to chop a huge gecko in half and both halves running away.....

Wow... great stories. I can't even remember how many times we went to Corregidor growing up, but it is one of my most favorite places in the world !! Ah, the geckos... I think there were about a million of them in every underground bunker!!
Let's see... memories... I have one memory of a couple guys killing a python (I think it was Greg Ferguson and Steve Hyde, does anyone else remember?) that they found in Malinta Tunnel. That was back when you could get away with sleeping in the tunnels.
The guys killed the python (I think with a rock or a board) and then carried it back to where some other people were sleeping. Then they started using the snake to "wake people up" Is anyone reading this one of the people who woke up to a snake in their face?? haha.

Have some great memories of my time at Faith:
* Pool parties at Thor and Uve's place.
* Wild trips to White Sands with the Walker boys, Dave Sarmiento, Steve Stanley, and the crew. "Skinny-dipping" and jumping off the cliffs there and off some small island we paid a fisherman to take us to. Having a minor head-on collision on the way (no one hurt).
* Fights with the wanna-be thugs in Makati. (still have a scar from one that involved a Pinoy with a knife).
* Steve Stanley and I sneaking out of the dorm (out fire escape and over the roof) when curfew ended the night too early.
* All nighters before a term paper was due.
* Clubbing with all the "non-clubbers" on grad night. Seems that everyone got brave when they knew they were done with Faith. A major party at La Cueva (dancing with a female faculty member - actually had a her class once - whom I will not "out").
* Choir class with Uncle Bill Hyde. Great guy and nice air-con. That was one of only 2 classrooms w/ AC in '84/'85).
* Road trips to play Subic and Clark in volleyball and basketball.
It was fun while it lasted.

Sammy... I was with ya for most of those... epsecially loved those pool parties at Thor & Uve's jumpin off the rocks! Unfortunatly I wasn't there for that last nite at La Cueva, after going there all through that yr. Also Tia Maria's ROCKED... day & nite.
The only thing you left out was Senior Trip '85. Remember the "Sandmen" playin Volleyball on the beach & the "Purple Rain" Soundtrack was HUGE (especially Darling Nikki). Also hangin at the Narcisso's in Bagio while it was cold & rainy.
And for those talkin about the Wulliman Dorm, I believe we were the one's that broke them in. Our Senior yr was their first. I'm surprised they stayed after what we put them thru. Some great memories...
